MTS Client Download

MTS for Windows Mobile Pocket PC 5/6 QVGA (240x320)

MTS for J2ME
Instructions: install the midlet. If you don't have an account already, you can create one from Options - Settings - Create Account. Type in your username, use 1234 as password (default). Type in your network operator code (the list is available here - http://mtsmobile.ro/inf). If you are not using MTS on a Symbian compatible OS with the cellid feature then type "Yes" in the Allow Only Messaging field.

*note that without the MTS Daemon that runs only on S60 2nd edition devices, the J2ME client allows only messaging and tracking other users - self tracking is possible only other Windows Mobile or Symbian OS.

MTS for Symbian S60 2nd Edition
Instructions: first download and follow the instructions from the J2ME client (the J2ME midlet works together with MTSd - so you need them both). Install MTSd and Python Libs. Run MTSd. After it launches, don't close it - just press the menu button and leave it running in the background. Closing the MTSd application will disable the cellid feature in the MTS J2ME client. You will have to start MTSd everytime you switch on the device if you are planning on using MTS. In the J2ME client go to Options and make sure that Allow Only Messaging field its set to "No".
